Early Years: Sparks of Invention

From a very young age, David stood out academically - consistently top of his class and excelling in science, including perfect scores in physics at Calvary Comprehensive School, Port Harcourt.

By ages 6-8 he was experimenting with building blocks and toys. At 10-11, he created comics and invented new paper toy games that inspired his community peers.

Teen Years: First Robots & Bold Experiments

At 12-13, David built his first powered car and robot, sketching designs inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Art Attack, cyborgs, and rockets. Creativity thrived despite social challenges that taught early independence.

By 14-15, he conducted ambitious science experiments - once removed from the lab for bold, risky agricultural mixture work - fueling a lifelong curiosity.

Academic Peak

High School Triumph & First Leadership

At 16, David graduated at the top of his class - perfect scores in physics and biology, roughly 87% overall average - marking an academic peak.

That same year he launched CBL, a youth entertainment startup combining dance, comedy, and drama. As CEO and tech lead, the group performed widely before parting over vision differences - planting the seed of entrepreneurship.

Reflection

Trials, Faith & Rebuilding

Ages 17-18 brought isolation, relocation, and significant personal challenges - including a brief time at Obafemi Awolowo University that ended due to circumstances beyond his control.

Through faith, reading, journaling, and creative outlets, he rebuilt his vision and personal philosophy - forging the resilience that would define his next chapter.

Comeback

Renewed Drive & Early Wins

At 19 he reignited his passion - winning a talent show (a house model project in the COZA Talent Hunt) and using the prize money to launch tech ventures. He completed a smart home project and began coding seriously.

By 20 he founded a coding school, teaching 60+ students while building phone-controlled cars, Python applications, and desktop software.
